Ed Sheeran is out there in the big wide world, and he wants to sit you down and give you some advice on how to style out being single when you’re with a couple.
The thing is, we’re not sure if you should take advice from Ed. Although when he gives it to you, it will be with a direct look, and a warm handshake (we bet Ed gives bloody good handshakes. Firm, yet also soft).
So now we’ll explain why we’re torn.
Look at Ed here. Like actually LOOK at him. He’s gatecrashing a date that Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris are on in New York. And he just looks like the epitome of a third wheel if we’re honest.
Ed, you’re not styling it out here. You’re looking like a lurker in the background who got caught in the flashlights. It’s not good.
There’s nothing wrong with being single. Single is great. But being with couples is annoying at the best of times, and there’s a fine art to handling it without wanting to combust.
Here, Ed looks like he is combusting on the inside.
So don’t take any advice from Ed. He doesn’t mean what he says, anyway. He would much rather be at home with his X Box and cheese on toast, like all the best single people are.
