So as Taylor Swift has got her ‘squad’ pretty much nailed down, Ed Sheeran has insisted he’s also part of the crew.

And it’s not just for girls. Hmm, seems like something out of a classic Yorkie chocolate advert.

Anywho, speaking to Billboard, our fave red-head revealed he’s in Tay-Tay’s inner circle of girlies.

More stories!

Confirming the news, the Thinking Out Loud singer told the website: "Of course.

"It's not a vaginas-only club."

Ed also spoke about how he felt trying to juggle being in a relationship and being super-famous.

"I just never want to be public. It always, always backfires," he admitted.

"I really wish I could disappear at moments that I'm with a significant other. It's none of anyone's f**king business."

So there’s his stance on being in a relationship.

But what we really want to know is, if Ed’s part of "The Squad" why wasn’t he in Swifty’s music video for Bad Blood eh? Eh, Ed?
