Ed Sheeran has managed to shrug of Noel Gallagher’s nasty comments about his sold out Wembley Stadium concert in a recent interview.
The former Oasis frontman caused a stir amongst the red-headed musician’s fans when he said: “I can’t live in a world where Ed Sheeran sells out Wembley Stadium”.
Apparently, Ed read the comments and decided to get proactive and try and change his mind.
The 23-year-old said: “I read what he said, I texted him because I have his number and asked him if he’d like some tickets.
“He wrote back, ‘you cheeky so and so. My daughter would love some.’”
So it’s all water under the bridge, right?
Ed told Radio 2: “He’s always going to be the guy who’s outspoken. I wasn’t offended. I found it quite cool to be in his interview.”
Ed has sold out the Wembley Stadium date of his 2015 just months after his album stormed the charts.
Since you’re handing them out here, there and everywhere, any chance you can throw some tickets this way, Ed?
