Since coming off the show, the 18-year-old’s career has sky-rocketed and today it was revealed she’s bagged the top spot in the charts with her first album,* Chapter One*.
Ella's now officially the second fastest selling female chart topper in the UK with her debut album, (Sam Bailey still holds the title, FYI) which finished over 16,000 copies ahead of its nearest rival.
Hooray!
But Ella’s not letting it go to her head. In fact, she’s probably one of the most grounded celebs we’ve ever met and when we caught up with up her at the Teen Awards in London today, she told heat she’ll probably celebrate the number one spot in her PJs.
We love it.
The Glow singer also explained how support from her celebrity fans keeps her going, with Tulisa and Adele getting special mentions from the star.
Oh, and she’s backing Ben Haenow to win this year’s X Factor.
