Ellie Goulding hits back at online trolls: ‘I’ll keep posting make up free photos, sorry haters’

Ellie Goulding’s Instagram feed is full of photos of the singer looking fresh faced and beautiful. But it seems some mean people have been attacking the singer for wearing no make up. Nice, eh?

Is Ellie going to stand for it? Is she heck. Tonight the Burn singer took to her Twitter to give the people flooding her feed with nasty comments a piece of her mind.

“I'll keep posting make up free photos sorry haters,” Ellie tweeted. “And also if you follow me on Instagram just to make weird comments like ‘put some make up on’ please un-follow because that's not really my vibe.”

She later added: “Saying that I really do have the most awesome fans, all of you are beautiful people! I am so lucky aren't I x”.

Earlier this month, Ellie showed off her incredible body for Women’s Health and opened up about posting pictures of her body.

“I Instagram and I tweet and I perform in whatever I want and if you accept that you’re always going to get negativity then you can overcome it,” Ellie said. “So when you see a nasty comment, you don’t think, ‘That’s not fair’. It just kind of turns into a blur.

She added: “I feel strong. I mean, physically I’m strong but I feel like it does add to me being a bit stronger and being able to deflect things easier. I'm not afraid of a guy saying to me that I’m strong. And I will happily post pictures of my muscles on Instagram – because I’m proud of being a strong girl.”
