If you've ever planned a wedding (and if you haven't, consider this a warning) you'll know that suddenly YOUR party that YOU are paying for (most probably) somehow becomes everyone else's business with people getting all up in your grill about who you are inviting.

Your UKIP Uncle Norman who you haven't spoken to for five years?

Your partner's three-year-old niece who is still in the sitting-in-puddles and pooing herself stage?

Your parents' dentist?

Apparently they all deserve a place at your special day. So, in this grand tradition, we have zero problem with sticking our nose right in Elliott Wright's wedding invite list and exclaiming 'Wot? No _TOWIE_s?'

The Brentwood fitster came to our attention during his stint in The Only Way Is Essex before quitting the show and moving to Spain to open his restaurant, Olivia's. He documented the hectic process of running it in Elliott Wright: Playa in Marbella that we have to admit we haven't quite brought ourselves to watch yet, despite it starring some of the Life On Marbs cast #gonetoosoon.

But it looks as though Elliott may have turned his back on some of his TV pals.

When asked if they'd make the invite list to his upcoming nuptials, Elliott said:

"Probably not, no…

“I keep in touch with the *TOWIE *lot to a certain degree but I wouldn’t say I’m close, I live in Spain now, they’ve got their own careers to get on," he told The Sun.

Gutted. We love a TOWIE wedding.

Elliott also poured cold water on the idea of a second series of Playa In Marbella.

“ITV want to film it – but we will have to see how I feel about that.

“I’m not going to lie, it was very hard, you’re leaving the restaurant at 2am and coming home and 7am they are knocking on the door to film you again.

“Sometimes you feel like telling them to sod off but you have a job to do and you have to let them in," he said, before concluding, rather wonderfully:

“It all depends how much they will pay me.”
