It looks like it’s going to be a good Christmas for Sir Elton John and partner David Furnish – they are set to marry this weekend. Nine years after their civil partnership ceremony.

The couple are planning to walk down the aisle in front of a select group of 50 friends and family at their home in Windsor.

While there may only be a small party of people invited, the guest list is still impressive with the likes of David and Victoria Beckham and The Osbournes in attendance.

A friend of the pair told the Daily Mirror: “Elton and David have been planning this for months. “Elton is flamboyant but, for once, this will be a decidedly low-key affair.

“Only close friends and family are invited – it’s going to be a small, intimate do.”

In a brilliant display of cuteness, the couple’s children Zachary, three, and Elijah, one, are going to be ring bearers.

Elton and David have been together for more than 20 years and became one of the first ever couples in the UK to have a civil partnership in December 2005.

Congratulations, guys!
