Despite it being just days since she gave birth, Emma McVey has been targeted by cruel trolls who attacked her for ‘not breastfeeding’, despite it being literally nobody’s business but her own.
The nasty comments started after Gary posted a picture of him bottle-feeding their new son, but now he’s hit back at the trolling on his Instagram stories.
He posted a video of himself discussing being excited about leaving the hospital, before panning the camera to Emma, who appears to be breastfeeding the baby in her bed.
In the video, he says: "Thank God this is the last day I'll wake up on this f*cking hospital bed. Get me home,” before turning the camera to Emma.
Taking to the comment section of a sweet picture of Gaz bottle-feeding his new baby, people wrote things like: "It's a well known fact breast milk is better for your baby and you won't find a study that says different."
Another added: "There is pressure to BF for a good reason: healthier baby, less hospital and Dr visits = less cost to NHS."
However, others were quick to jump to Emma's defence, with one writing: "Wish people wouldn’t be so judgemental about how parents choose to feed their babies. The main focus should be that baby is happy and healthy and being well looked after which little man clearly is."
Another added: "Last time they checked I’m pretty sure the baby was theirs not the thousands of followers they have on here. Nothing to nice to say? Then keep it shut."
This, sadly, isn't the first time Emma's been targeted to criticism. She was trolled throughout her pregnancy for what people believed to be her 'too-skinny' frame
