Emma Roberts and Evan Peters have split after three years together following a string of arguments on the set of their joint TV series American Horror Story.
Emma, who is the niece of Julia Roberts, met Evan while filming Adult World, although they didn’t get together until after shooting had wrapped.
But the couple found themselves in a controversial situation when Emma was taken into custody by police after allegedly hitting her boyfriend in a hotel room in Montreal, back in 2013.
However, that didn’t seem to break them as the pair then got engaged over Christmas last year, with Evan giving Emma a huge pink diamond ring when he proposed.
Just six months on, though, it looks like things between them have run their course, with a source telling Just Jared: “They have so many great memories together but couldn't make it work in the end.”
The insider added: “The break-up was amicable – there was no drama whatsoever. Emma and Evan are even still friends.”
However, there is speculation the split came after constant arguing on set of American Horror Story, with a source previously saying the two kept “making out” – but only when “they’re not screaming at each other”.
