Harry Potter actress and all round beautiful person, Emma Watson has waded into the huge controversy surrounding the swarms of leaked celebrity naked photos, which includes the likes of Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton.
The 24-year-old posted on Twitter: "Even worse than seeing women's privacy violated on social media is reading the accompanying comments that show such a lack of empathy."
The images emerged on social media over the weekend after celebrities iCloud accounts were thought to have been hacked by a currently unknown party.
Lena Dunham who stars in HBO’s hit series Girls, also gave her two cents on the debacle, dubbing whoever was behind the leak a “sex offender”.
Last night, Kirsten Dunst whose photos are included within the leak, made light of the hack via Twitter, posting:
It’s been revealed that the FBI will lead the hunt for the hacker, meanwhile a representative for Jennifer Lawrence confirmed the authenticity of the pictures and threatened legal action against anyone who post the photos online.
