If you haven’t seen Beauty and the Beast yet – what are you bloody playing at?! The live action remake of the Disney classic has already been SO successful that it’s said to be one of their most profitable movies to date.

And it’s not hard to see why. With Emma Watson as the perfect Belle, Luke Evans as the slimey Gaston and, of course, Dan Stevens as the Beast it’s an absolute dream for everyone who watched the cartoon movie as a child and wondered what it would all look like IRL.

So good.

But it seems that taking on the role of bookworm Belle wasn’t as easy as just donning a blue dress and apron and singing along to the classic songs we all know off by heart.

Emma has opened up about the testing three months she had to spend at boot camp in order to become Belle.

But not just any old boot camp. It is literally a boot camp… for princesses.

Yup. That’s an actual thing. Emma appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and confessed that she was shipped off to princess boot camp and it sounds like a right good time.

“I did princess boot camp for three months,” she said.

“I got to horse ride, I got to learn to waltz and then I had singing lessons and rehearsals.”

Erm – where can we sign up?!

It’s not the first time an actress has had to do some epically fun training for a role – remember when Poppy Drayton told us about how she had to go to her local pool with a fake fin so that she could practice being a mermaid?

Alright Disney, we know you’ve got a lot of good remakes coming up so if you EVER need to train up some princesses you know where to find us.
