Yay for Emmerdale actress Nicola Wheeler! The soap star has busted a baby into the world.
Nicola, 40, who plays Nicola King on the show, gave birth to a little boy last month but kept the news quiet until now.
The star kept mum when it came to her pregnancy (see what we did there?), only announcing she was expecting after eight months.
A post on the official Emmerdale Twitter page read: “BIG congratulations to @nicola_wheeler and her baby boy, who arrived on Friday 13! #Emmerdale.”
Nicola is now taking a break from her soap while she cares for her newborn and her character has jetted off to Dubai for a new job.
She hid her pregnancy whilst filming scenes for Emmerdale as her character was part of a miscarriage storyline.
The star is yet to announce the name of her child but tweeted to thank fans after revealing she was pregnant, writing: “Thanks for all your congratulations still got a couple of weeks until baby arrives. Unless he/she gets impatient.
“Again thanks for all the baby congrats. He/she is a wriggler & currently auditioning for ‘Aliens 5’. Great way to freak your other half out!”
