Life in a reality TV show moves fast: one moment you're single and ready to mingle, the next involved in all the AGG and DRAMZ of a relationship with everyone all up in your GRILL.
But if you're a reality TV star and you end up with a ring on it quicker than you're comfortable with (after about six weeks seems to be the average), don't fear!
The chances are you won't get taken up the aisle. This lot certainly didn't get that far.
Megan McKenna and Jordan Davies
The King and Queen of Ex on the Beach didn’t prove that a relationship can work from the show in the end.
But don’t get us wrong, they gave it a good try.
The couple lasted two series of the show, and Jordan proposed to Megan on her birthday in the series 4 finale.
The filming took place in September 2015, and the pair made it until December when Megan confirmed the split just before she entered the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Things have actually got a bit bitter since then…
Oh dear.
Lucy Mecklenburgh and Mario Falcone
One of the most fondly remembered couples of The Only Way Is Essex, the pair got engaged on screen on a luxury yacht in Marbs, back in 2012.
We still tear up now about how beautiful it was.
But after cheating rumours (and confessions) on both sides, the pair called it quits after only a few months of being engaged.
The two have since dated other people, but there have been a few [rumours floating around this year that they’re back in touch…](embed: planetradio.co.uk/heat/celebrity/news/mario-falcone-lucy-mecklenburgh-back-together-couple-grow-close/)
Could we see the beautiful couple reunite soon?
Lauren Goodger and Mark Wright
Everyone was rather shocked when Mark Wright got down on one knee in a car park to propose to Lauren - even their own families didn’t think it was a good idea.
And who can forget that totes emosh speech at their engagement party?
It was later revealed that Lauren had cheated on Mark, which led to the couple’s quick split.
Since then, Lauren’s been on a fitness kick and Mark’s got married to Michelle Keegan.
Sam Faiers and Joey Essex
The on again – off again couple of TOWIE, Sam and Joey first started dating back in 2011, before splitting up only four months later.
A year passed and the pair admitted they still had feelings for each other, so had another go at love in May 2012.
In April 2013, the pair got engaged in Dubai. Sun, sea, sand and Sex on the Beach, what more could you want from an engagement, right?
But after a few fights, when the *TOWIE *cast took a trip to Marbs Joey dumped poor Sam.
The pair briefly got back together in October 2013, but when Joey appeared on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! rumours began about him and Amy Willerton, who was also on the show.
The pair parted ways again, and Sam entered the Celebrity Big Brother house in early 2014, where she found out she had Crohn’s Disease.
Joey came back onto the scene to help Sam and the two rekindled for the fourth and final time before they finally parted ways.
Sam is now with her Paul Knightley, and they have a son.
Vicky Pattison and Ricci Guarnaccio
Oh, these two.
It was never going to end well, was it?
During series 2 of Geordie Shore, Vicky began seeing newcomer Ricci but the pair had a very rocky relationship with the two constantly fighting.
Despite the love-hate relationship, Ricci decided to propose to Vicky in Cancun whilst filming series 3 of the show.
It was pretty romantic, and the pair did look pretty loved up for a while.
However the couple continued to argue and in series 5, Vicky decided to call it a day as she was unhappy in their relationship. Ricci later decided to leave the show, and let’s just say they haven’t stayed friends…
Marnie Simpson and Ricky Rayment
A true reality TV crossover that we thought might actually end happily, despite the pair only being together weeks before getting engaged.
But sadly, the two were not meant to be.
Ricky broke off the engagement after a picture emerged of Marnie holding hands with former Ex on the Beach star and new Geordie Shore cast mate Marty McKenna.
Mario Falcone and Ricci Guarnaccio were both quick to rib Ricky about his on-screen engagement too, even though both men had previously done the same thing.
Ricky Rayment and Jessica Wright
And who could forget that Ricky had previously got engaged to Jess in TOWIE in 2014?
The Essex heartthrob was always trying to prove his worth to the Wright family, especially Jess’ cousin Elliot Wright.
Ricky and Jess were another reality TV pair that were constantly in arguments, and with the age gap between the two, Jess found Ricky to be quite immature.
Jess then found out Ricky had been messaging other girls and she dumped him after having it out with him during an episode of TOWIE.
And after mere months of the single life, Ricky was engaged to Marnie.
Jon Clark and Hannah Elizabeth
These two were engaged after spending just six weeks together on Love Island in 2015.
It was all quite sweet when Jon and Hannah fell in love in front of the nation on the show, but it was still a shock at the end of the series when the couple (who came in second place) got engaged.
After only a few months together, the pair called it quits after continually arguing, and their make-or-break holiday ended in Jon flying home solo, leaving Hannah in Spain.
Jon's just joined TOWIE so could we be seeing another engagement from him soon?
