The Latino lover was trying to grab onto a drone at the time – no, not something that happens to us when we’re working. This was a definite pop star situation.
Apparently drones are used during Enrique’s live shows to take photos of the crowd. When he grabbed the drone, it cut his hand.
Enrique’s publicist, Joe Bonilla, tweeted a rather gory photo of Enrique on stage, titled: “The show must go on!”
We’d have been straight off stage and milking the injury for weeks after, but that Enrique IS dedicated.
Enrique’s hand was eventually bandaged up after he bled for around ten minutes on stage, reports CNN.com. He then flew to LA after the show to get treatment.
"Something went wrong, and he had an accident. He was semi-treated by crew on the side of the stage to try and stop the bleeding," Iglesias' publicist said.
Er, maybe best to stay away from flying drones next time, Enrique?
