Essie Davis is set to join the cast for the next season of GOT! You may recognise the Australian actress from films such as The Matrix Reloaded and Girl with a Pearl Earring.
Anyway, she’ll be on our TV screens in 2016 for season six, and rumour has it she’ll play a member of a travelling theatre troupe in Braavos. We. Can’t. Wait!
Essie is the latest star to be added to the long list of famous faces amongst the cast. Last week it was announced that Richard E. Grant (Withnail and I, The Portrait of a Lady, and of course, Spice World) will also appear in season six of GOT. Although we’re not sure who exactly he will portray as of yet.
The upcoming season, which is set to premiere in the Spring of 2016, is the first in which the TV series will overtake the books currently being written by George RR Martin.
As well as plots lines from the fourth and fifth novels, it will be based on the sixth edition The Winds of Winter.
