Let's be honest, the only thing in life more aesthetically-pleasing than Love Island alumni Eyal Booker is an all you can eat buffet. There's a reason why he's claimed heat magazine's coveted Torso of the Week spot, you know? So, with that in mind, you'd assume the Celebs Go Dating star has a queue of girls begging to be the object of his affections.
The thing is, though, he reckons dating's actually really hard now he's famous. Poor hun.
Despite being helped out by dating experts on the E4 telly show, Eyal's opened up to us about the struggles of finding love in the public eye in the latest episode of Big Night In.
Chatting to heat Radio's Emily Segal, Eyal revealed he did find love on the show. He said: "It look a long time, but there is a finale I took someone to."
Is he still with said someone? "I can't answer that," he said. "What I will say is that it’s just a mad journey of some horrendously awkward dates. My first one I was watching under the couch; I couldn’t believe it. I knew it was awkward, but I didn’t realise how awkward it was until that."
Asked if he found that girls went into their dates with a preconceived idea of what Eyal was after, he explained: "Completely, at the first mixer. I’m not suggesting that anyone needs to know who I am because that’s not what I’m about; but at the same time I was on Love Island which is a pretty big show and took over the UK. I’m at the first mixer and most girls are like ‘who are you?’ and I’m like ‘I don’t expect you to know but at the same time you know who’s coming here, you know who’s going to be here.’ Then, off the cuff, they’re like ‘I’m really spiritual, I love nature.’
"It’s like, ‘hang on a minute, I’ve just asked you how you are. How’ve you got to that?’ It’s just a slap in the face, and then from there…I just wanted people to be real with me."
