Let’s look back at Eyal Booker from Love Island’s pop career in EverYoung

Most Love Island contestants are new to the fame game. Aside from Lauren Richardson who had that fling with Zayn Malik and 2028 contestant Dani Dyer (daughter of, you guessed it, Danny Dyer); the majority of 'em are catapulted from obscurity to overnight sensations.

Turns out you may have seen new chap Eyal Booker before, though.

Yup - as this year's singletons were announced it came to light that 22-year-old model Eyal was actually once in a pop band called EverYoung; so obviously we've spent the majority of the day going through their back catalogue in the name of journalism.

Chatting about his time in the group, Eyal says: "I was in a pop band once called EverYoung. We had small time success and toured the country, built up a little fan base and there was fan girl hysteria. They’d follow us around and come to our gigs and stuff so that was a little taste."

The British band - which formed in 2012 - consisted of Eyal, Hollie McKinlay, Jack Morlen and Cherelle Williams. You'd probably be forgiven for forgetting their existence; but we thought we'd remind you of the Love Island lad's past life as a popstar.
