Fearne Cotton entered 2025 single after her shock split from husband Jesse Wood in December. But the Happy Place podcaster has not let her new relationship status hold her back, as she’s admitted that with children Rex, 11, and Honey, nine, being ‘a bit older’, she feels like she’s in a ‘new era’.
Fearne surprised fans when she put out a statement saying she was divorcing after 11 years of marriage, writing, ‘It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that Jesse and I are ending our marriage. Our priority has been and always will be our children.’
As well as Rex and Honey, the presenter is also a dedicated stepmum to Arthur, 23, and Lola, 19, from 48-year-old Jesse’s first marriage to Tilly Wood.
And as she copes with her new situation, the wellness advocate, 43 – who’s credited therapy for ‘changing her life’ – detailed her plans to ‘schedule in fun’ and ‘let loose a little bit’. She explained, ‘Having joyful moments of fun with people that I love is something that I’m really getting back and it feels so good.’
She also revealed she’s making more time for herself, saying, ‘It’s simple things like walking.
‘If I’m back-to-back recording or on a writing deadline, if I can get an hour’s walk at some point in the day where I just listen to beautiful music, it makes me really happy.’
