“Ferne is heartbroken”: TOWIE’s Charlie gave her an ultimatum – him or the show

An Essex insider tells heatworld that Charlie Sims gave Ferne McCann a shocking ultimatum before he left the show earlier today – their relationship, or the programme.

“Unfortunately Charlie has given Ferne an ultimatum – it’s him or the show,” says our insider.

“This came as a huge shock to Ferne who is really upset that he would put her in such a position. She loves being part of TOWIE and is an important character who is great for the show. She’s very successful off the back of it.

“The reality is that Charlie has never wanted to live his life on camera. Ferne has promised to support him either way and just wants him to do the same for her.

“She has been proactively encouraging him to make amends with Chloe and his family but the fact everyone wrongly thinks she is to blame for Charlie and Chloe falling out has put a strain on their relationship.

“Ferne is heartbroken that Charlie has taken to Twitter but it’s all very raw, so who knows what will happen. Hopefully he will realise he can’t dictate her career. It feels unfair to suddenly and from nowhere put her in this position.

“She's hoping he'll realise this and they'll make it up but right now Ferne is unsure what to do and is just very upset.”

Well, there you go – it’s all got crazy in Essex all of a sudden.
