Former star of** The Only Way Is Essex** Ferne McCann has welcomed her first child into the world, a baby girl.
The new mum took to her Instagram page to share her happy news, where she revealed she has given birth to a baby girl a week early.
Sharing a photo of her new daughter's tiny hands, Ferne wrote, 'Wellcome to the world my darling. Didn’t expect to see you a week early 🙂. I’m so in love & bursting with pride. It’s a girl 👶🏼💗💗💗' [sic]
Fans were quick to congratulate the reality star, one user wrote, 'Congratulations to you and your beautiful daughter 💞💞💞', with another adding, 'How amazing @fernemccann a little girl is a best friend for life.. PERFECT 💗👩❤️👩'.
Ferne was forced to announce her pregnancy earlier than she wanted back in April this year when her ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins was arrested for an alleged acid attack in London.
A spokesperson for Ferne released a statement reading, ‘Ferne is grateful for the sympathetic way news of her pregnancy has been covered and people’s support and obviously her first concern is for her child’s health.
‘Accordingly she does not wish to discuss the pregnancy further given the early stage it is at and the immense strain that Ferne is currently under.'
The statement ended, 'Her thoughts are with the victims of the horrific attack on Easter Monday.'
Ferne later appeared on the This Morning sofa where she broke down in tears, but revealed how excited she was at the thought of becoming a parent.
Ferne is yet to reveal her new daughter's name, but we expect it won't be long before we get another cute photo of the little one.
