Former **The Only Way Is Essex **star Ferne McCann has been forced to deny she is still in a relationship with her ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins.
Ferne ended her romance with Arthur in 2017 after he was convicted of an acid attack in a London nightclub, but the pair do share a daughter together.
But recent rumours spread by a number of media outlets have suggested that Ferne has forgiven her ex and is back in a relationship with him. One rumour suggested that Ferne's best friend and former TOWIE co-star Sam Faiers has even ended her relationship with the reality star as she isn't happy with her 'decision'.
After the rumours circulated, Ferne has now hit back at the claims in an angry rant on her Twitter page. She wrote, '1-Regarding today’s many FALSE stories about me (and sorry to bore you all)…
'For the record (again) I am not in a relationship with Arthur. I do not know how much clearer I could be about that!! Sam and I never fell out about Arthur! This is false.' [sic]
She then added, '2-Arthur is Sunday’s father. I have had to communicate with him and his family with respect to Sunday (mainly through lawyers). Todays ‘sources’ are wrong. [sic]
This isn't the first time Ferne has had to defend herself for her ex-boyfriend's actions.
When the awful attack happened during the Easter Weekend in 2017, Ferne made the decision to publicise her pregnancy, despite not being at the 'safe' 12 week stage.
A statement released by her publicist said, 'Ferne is grateful for the sympathetic way news of her pregnancy has been covered and people’s support and obviously her first concern is for her child’s health.
‘Accordingly she does not wish to discuss the pregnancy further given the early stage it is at and the immense strain that Ferne is currently under.' The statement ended, 'Her thoughts are with the victims of the horrific attack on Easter Monday.'
After a tough pregnancy, Ferne welcomed her baby girl into the world in November last year.
The new mum took to her Instagram page to share her happy news, where she revealed she has given birth to a baby girl a week early.
Sharing a photo of her new daughter's tiny hands, Ferne wrote, 'Wellcome to the world my darling. Didn’t expect to see you a week early 🙂. I’m so in love & bursting with pride. It’s a girl 👶🏼💗💗💗' [sic]
Ferne later revealed she'd decided to call her daughter Sunday and has since kept fans up to date with her progress by posting some of the cutest photos.
