Here’s a celebrity feud full of extraordinary insults that we reckon you will hugely enjoy on a Friday.
Fifi Geldof – who mostly shies away from the limelight – has kicked off after disapproving remarks that Russell Brand has made about drug use, calling him an “uber-douche extraordinaire” (excellent insult, Fifi) and an “unfunny bastard”.
Ex-drug addict Russell was the compere at a fundraiser for a drugs charity, and was giving it his usual shtick.
“From what I’ve experienced, a lot of people here are on drugs right now. The toilet is like an avalanche,” he said.
He then made a joke about Madness frontman Suggs, who was joining him on stage.
“Suggs has grabbed a trumpet, that’s always a good sign. As long as that’s the only bugle he uses tonight, we’ll remain positive.”
Bugle is a slang word for cocaine, in case you were wondering.
The Sun reports that Fifi, whose sister Peaches Geldof and mum Paula Yates both died from heroin overdoses, was shocked.
“All the dumbfounded faces in the venue were priceless. I was this close to marching up and backhanding him. I’ve never liked him,” she reportedly said.
“I could not believe it. It takes a lot to render a Geldof gobsmacked, but honest to God, I just could not believe it.”
She also said that she was “disgusted” and was close to hitting Russell.
Woah, woah, woah! Russell, you better stay out of Fifi’s way – she sounds like she’s going to thump you one if you’re not careful.
