Fifi Geldof won’t have sisters as bridesmaids out of respect for Peaches Geldof

When Fifi Geldof announced she was engaged just four weeks after her sister Peaches Geldof’s death, it was the good news the family needed.

And what with dad Bob Geldof getting engaged the week before as well, the family finally had positive things to look forward to.

Now 31-year-old Fifi has made the decision not to have her sisters Pixie, 23, and 18-year-old Tiger Lily as her bridesmaids out of respect for Peaches, who died from a drug overdose in April.

She will have six of her close friends instead.

A close friend told The Sun: “She thinks it would seem very odd to have the two other girls without Peaches by her side too.”

Fifi is set to marry fiancé Andrew Robertson in July next year. She announced her happy news by posting a photo of her engagement ring to Instagram, captioning it: “Boydonegood”.
