Speaking on the KISS FM breakfast show, the X Factor USA group addressed rumours that they’d be collaborating with their pals from across the pond.
"It's a rumour, but we hope it's true," they said. "They're so down to earth.
"It was actually on The X Factor when we first met, and they were so nice. I think they were up performing, and they just went backstage and kind of talked to all the different contestants. And they gave us advice.
"Yeah, they just told us to make sure we should pretty much stick together. They are such cool guys."
Fifth Harmony – who were formed on the second season of X Factor USA in 2012 – added that they are fans of Little Mix as well.
"They're just really talented," they said. "We're both about girl power and empowering other women to do what they love to do.
"And you know, we're not in this as a competition. We both do completely different things. We support each other 100 per cent."
