"Sex scenes should be more subtle," Emilia told the* Daily Mail.*
"I'm British, so I cringe at that sort of thing anyway – I can't stand it."
She added: “Most sex scenes you see in films or on TV are gratuitous, and they're usually just to attract an audience.
"On screen, the subtler the better."
Emilia’s former Game of Thrones co-star Oona Chaplin (she played Talisa Maegyr - the poor pregnant woman who got stabbed to death at the Red Wedding) said two years ago that "one of the girls" on the show – thought to be Emilia – had refused to strip off after the first two seasons of the show.
"[She] got her kit off the most in the first couple of seasons [and] now doesn't at all because she said, 'I want to be known for my acting, not for my breasts'," Oona said.
"I'm really comfortable getting my kit off, so - if they want to, I'm like, 'Yeah, bring it, I'm naked, no problem'."
That’s the spirit!
