This series of The Great British Bake Off hasn't exactly been overrun with delightful news.
There was the Channel 4 move, the Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins departure (sob), the Mary Berry departure (SOB), and then Selasi Gbormittah left.
We are still trying to come to terms with the last one.
So it's nice to see some good news for a change, and this comes in the form of lipstick-lover Candice Brown. She uploaded a pic of her with a baby (not hers), as well as a massive engagement-looking ring on her finger.
Look!
She's apparently been dating Liam Macauley for more than four years – so it makes sense.
And he's a bit of a fitlord (just like her brother – have you seen him? You can do so here)
Speaking about her home life, Candice told heat: "I've baked every week. I did the Genoise cake from week one [which she messed up on the show], just to show I could do it, and I've made either a variation of a bake or the technical. I didn't have time for full gingerbread pub or peacock though."
Lololol.
We are literally (not literally) dying of excitement about tonight's final, can't wait to see the MOST DIFFICULT TECHNICAL CHALLENGE EVER.
It has only ONE RECIPE INSTRUCTION.
How is that even possible?
What will it be? "Bake a cake"?
And the final showstopper is apparently "the most complex one ever seen on Bake Off" with "the most bakes ever requested in a challenge," according to Digital Spy.
Selasi is already planning the best Bake Off party ever (if you haven't heard about his weekly parties – you NEED TO CLICK HERE).
He tweeted: "Hello Newcastle…..Oh will be Bk in time for the #GBBO finals. It'll be best party to be at on a Wednesday #celebratorydrinksChilling."
