The Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya made her sisters envious this week, but not with her baking; it was the fact that she’d bagged herself an invite to the MOBO awards.
Speaking to heat on the red carpet at the First Direct arena in Leeds, Nadiya tells us she thinks our idea of having a live Bake Off is great.
“A live Bake Off sounds like a good idea – did I just say that?” she said.
But then she starts to backtrack…
“It would be tough, it’s nice when you do silly things and they edit those bits out. I like editing, I’m always for editing” said Nadiya.
And if there was one thing Nadiya would like to cut out, it’s all the chaos of moving house.
She told us: “We’re moving house this Friday but I’m back up in Yorkshire loads because I’ve got lots of things to do up here. My kitchen is like the mad blocks of Minecraft, all over my house right now there are boxes and boxes, but it’s exciting.”
Let’s hope she’s got enough boxes for all that Tupperware and a nice big shiny new kitchen to put it all in…
