Hits Radio presenter Gemma Atkinson has welcomed her first child with her partner, Strictly Come Dancing dancer, Gorka Márquez and we are super happy for them both!
Gemma revealed the news on her Instagram, posting a photo about family. She wrote, 'And just like that, we’re a three! Our beautiful baby daughter arrived on Thursday 4th July and myself and Gorks couldn’t be happier 💗💗💗
'She's incredible and she certainly made an entrance, giving us all quite a fright at times! Little Miss independent already! Thank you SO much to the nurses & doctors at The Royal Bolton Hospital who did the most incredible job taking care of myself and my baby. You’re all so wonderful and I’m so grateful to have had you all with me and to have been under your care these past 4 days 🙏

Gorka also announced the news and posted an ADORABLE photo with Gem. He wrote, 'The last pic before we became a 3. Our beautiful baby daughter arrived on Thursday 4th July and myself and Gem couldn’t be happier 💗💗💗

Last month Gemma delighted her fans by sharing her baby scan, and revealing their unborn child looks just like Gorka when he was a baby. She wrote, 'Still in my tummy kicking away. Making me knackered and giving me way more cellulite than usual but already has the exact same nose and mouth as their Dad @gorka_marquez How is this fair??? 😂🤦🏼♀️🥰❤️'. [sic]
We can't wait to see how much she looks like her mum and dad 😊

Gemma has shared updates throughout her pregnancy, including an empowering pregnancy post. We all know Gem is into her health and fitness and she revealed she put on 15kg throughout her pregnancy, writing, '70kg vs 85kg. Softer arms, puffier face, bigger ass and thighs, bigger belly, uterus, placenta, water retention, huge rise in estrogen meaning more cellulite and lets be honest, my boobs are like the Mitchell brothers 😂'. [sic]
She added, 'ALL of the above means my body is working to grow my baby and I couldn’t be more proud of it. Lots of you have DM me telling me you’re pregnant & struggling with the changes in your body. Admittedly, it is hard at first especially if like me, you were / are a gym bunny.'
Gemma then gave some solid advice to other pregnant women writing, 'However, if you change your way of thinking and realise firstly that pregnancy is a beautiful privilege denied to many woman so be grateful you have this opportunity, things do start to become easier!'
