Arriving at the SpecSavers Spectacle Wearer of the Year Awards with boyfriend James Argent in tow, fans noticed something different about TOWIE star Gemma Collins on Wednesday night.

Wearing a glitzy dress with a miniature black clutch, Queen of Essex Gemma looked noticeably different as she paired her outfit with thick black glasses and kept her signature long blonde locks down in a sleek, straight style.

Gemma has recently commented on her weight transformation through her strict Dancing on Ice training, claiming she has dropped a dress size in just 10 DAYS.

And it looks like supportive boyfriend Arg is standing by her side through her makeover journey.

Celebs Go Dating star Amber Davies was also spotted partying at the SpecSavers Awards with pal, Olivia Attwood.

The girls were joined by Love Island stars, Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham who looked loved up throughout the night.

Another Love Islander to attend the event was Alex Miller - the one with glasses - very appt, we know.

The Love Island hottie looked FIERCE in his classic glasses, and appeared friendly with his co-stars, despite rumours of a divide in the official Love Island group chat - AWKS.

Another celeb attempting to look sultry in his glasses was Eammon Holmes - we're not so convinced, sorry Eamonn.
