Over the years, TOWIE’s Gemma Collins and James ‘Arg’ Argent have had a pretty rocky relationship. We’ve seen tears, tantrums, nawty shenanigans in a bush and of course the infamous Gemma and Lydia’s infamous sharing of Arg and a delicious Paella in Marbella.
With Arg’s recent return to the Essex scene, we’ve been gripped by their will they/won’t they romance but were pretty devo when Gemma was exiled to the friendzone.
After a series filled to the brim with sexual tension, the saga came to an emotional head during the TOWIE series finale when a tearful Gemma hopped in a cab to the airport after Arg turned down her invitation to join her in Tenerife.
Gem vowed to put their past behind her, look back on their happy memories but move on with her life sans Arg. But then she turned her Instagram profile into a shrine to Arg and we were all a bit confused.
And now it looks as though she’s taken inspo form the likes of Justin Beiber and Selena Gomez and Brooklyn Beckham and Chloe Moretz (those pesky kids) as it appears the TOWIE stars have been getting close again.
Apparently, Arg rushed to Gem’s side after she pulled out of a public appearance due to suffering from cystitis.
"They've had it out and they have been getting close again,” a source told The Sun.
"He missed her while she was away, he admits they have incredible chemistry and he can't stay away - he went over to her place last night."
EUGH. In our opinion, the GC deserves so much more than this.
But, the heart wants what the heart wants, we suppose...
