Gemma Collins looking for love in I’m A Celeb jungle after boyfriend ‘beat her up’

Poor old Gemma Collins had a pretty rough time last week after her boyfriend allegedly beat her up.

The Only Way Is Essex star’s ex-convict man Alexander Moss apparently flew into a rage on Saturday night and trashed her Brentwood home causing her to call the police.

But Gemma, 33, has put on a brave face and has jetted out to Australia to appear on I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! when it starts on Sunday.

After landing at Brisbane Airport, she told The Sun: “It’s been a rough time, but I’m looking upwards.

“I’ve had a lot going on in England, but it’s a weight off my shoulders coming here.”

The reality star first started dating Alex in her 20s before he went to prison in 2012 for five-and-a-half-years for conspiracy to supply cocaine.

But, after recent events, it seems she’s had enough and is open to a romance Down Under.

She said: “I’m definitely a jungle Jane looking for a Tarzan.

“I’d certainly consider having a holiday romance. I’m single, so why not?”
