Appearing on Gogglebox looks like a right old laugh. What’s not to like? The stars of the show don’t really do much apart from watch telly on, err, telly and they get all the trappings of fame and fortune with it.
However, a recent strange turn of events might have surprised the unsuspecting bunch – someone has made a porno about the show and bosses are powerless to stop it.
The film, called Gobblecocks, features posh pair Steph and Dom as Beth and Don and sees the characters watching and reacting to other X-rated clips.
Sandy and Sandra appear as lesbian couple Sondra and Kassandra and pensioners Leon and June are called Deon and Joan. No, no, NO!
A source told The Sun: “Channel 4 are not happy to have Television X making a show so similar to Gogglebox in everything but for the fact it is about people watching porn movies rather than normal telly.
“In the past they would have sent a strong legal letter warning, but the law that came in in October effectively protects them from prosecution, so their hands are tied.”
We’re sure we could come up with plenty of LOLtastic jokes about hands being tied but we’ll let your imaginations run riot…
