In today's couple-we-did-not-see-coming news (previously brought to you by Liam Payne and Mrs Cheryl), it seems that Geordie Shore's Chloe Ferry is no longer hung up on Marty from the self-proclaimed party McKenna.
Why? Because she has been on a date with Jon Clark from TOWIE.
See?
And what a date it looks like. Her hand is on his knee! His hand is on her waist! This is an actual date, guys.
Need further proof? There is further proof! Chloe also shared a getting ready snap, in which she gushed about her upcoming night out:
Well maybe not gush, exactly. But she references the date, for sure.
And Jon is equally happy, and tweeted the hand-on-knee, hand-on-waist snap:
But one person was not so happy about the reality TV cross-over: Jon's TOWIE pal Danni Armstrong.
We're sure she was just joking, mind. And later she sent them a cute message:
But, and we mean this very seriously, perhaps Jon dating Chloe could BE a new storyline? We flaming love a TV show crossover. Remember when She-Ra met He-Man? It. Was. EPIC.
And, if our telly boxes don't explode when the Geordie Shore / TOWIE steams cross, great things could come of it.
Maybe we could even see a Geordie / Essex wedding. We're still not over the great Ricky Rayment / Marnie Simpson weddingthat never was.
Jon has been rather at a loss for love 'lines during his time on TOWIE. He and Chloe Sims went precisely nowhere after Jon took her to a museum on their first date and then she decided she was too mature for him on their second.
Whereas Jon's brother Chris seems to be getting along really rather well with show newbie Amber Dowding.
Now, there's a double date we would love to see.
