Former Geordie Shore star Gaz Beadle has announced his girlfriend Emma McVey has given birth to the couple's first child, a healthy baby boy.
The proud dad took to his social media accounts to announce the happy news, he wrote, 'WOW what a feeling no words can describe it meet our son 😍👶🏼💙 he is perfect in every way and healthy weighing 6lbs 2 @emma_jane1392 is fine and did amazing... I am a dad can’t believe it... I cried I smiled I panicked but I will be there for him no matter what 🙏🏻 xxx' [sic]
The birth comes after Emma posted a photo of herself showing off her cute little bump as she reached the nine month stage in her pregnancy last week. Alongside the photo she wrote, '#9monthspregnant hi little baba.' [sic]
Gaz, who found fame on the hit MTV show in 2011, shocked fans last year when he announced he was going to become a father for the first time.
Sharing a photo of himself with his arms around his girlfriend, Gaz wrote, 'SO SO SO excited to eventually be able to tell you all this... I AM GOING TO BE A DAD... WE ARE HAVING A BABY... @Emmamcvey 😱❤️👶🏼👫' [sic]
He later shared a photo of a baby scan, a dummy and a pair of baby shoes with the caption, 'Meet my baby wow that sounds so crazy....... can't believe I am going to be a dad..... I am soooo excited ❤️👶🏼' [sic]
In September Gaz and Emma then revealed they were expecting a baby boy. Revealing the news to OK! Magazine, Gaz said,** **"It's a boy, I can't wait to have a little mate." Gaz also revealed what he thinks his son will be like, he added, "I think he’ll be hyper! He’ll have lots of energy."
Despite previously being known for his 'party boy' antics, it looks like Gaz has settled down and raring to get started with parenthood.
The 29-year-old has left the cast of Geordie Shore and doesn't appear on the brand new series which started on MTV on Tuesday 9th January.
Gaz has appeared on Geordie Shore since the reality show first began back in May 2011. The 29-year-old has been in a number of relationships throughout his time on show, most publicly with his fellow co-star Charlotte Crosby.
After ending things with Charlotte, Gaz has been in a happy relationship with his girlfriend Emma since.
