You’d imagine that the cast of Geordie Shore would be considered absolute heroes in their hometown of Newcastle, right?
But it looks like the reality stars might no longer be welcome down the ‘toon, pet.
The cast were filming at Riverside nightclub’s Infaction night on Saturday, but only managed to stay for an hour and ten minutes after the crowd turned on them, chanting: “Who the f*cking hell are you?”
It all kicked off when a fault with the music led to a confrontation between the stars – including Marnie Simpson, Chloe Ferry, Gaz Beadle and Aaron Chalmers - on the VIP balcony and the baying crowd below.
“The club music system failed and the crowd turned on [the cast] just as it looked like the cameramen were setting up an argument to happen,” an eyewitness told The Mirror.
"They came over to the balcony while the crowd were chanting and they were making gestures at the crowd.
“At first it was just a bit of craic but then people were trying to push to where they were.
"The next minute someone threw a drink at Marnie and then the bouncers took them out through a fire escape."
Well, at least they left before things got REALLY ugly, eh?
The latest series of Geordie Shore has been filming for more than a week now, and fans haven’t been impressed with the new faces who have been spotted hanging out with the cast.
New girls Zahida Allen, Sarah Goodhart, Abbie Holborn, Eve Shannon and Elettra Lamborghini have all been seen filming, while Billy Phillips appears to be the only new lad on the show.
And obvs Charlotte Crosby, Holly Hagan and Chantelle Connelly will no longer be appearing, while Scotty T is yet to film for the new series. Which we’re still devo'd about, tbh.
But original star Gaz has since warned that filming with the newbies is “trial and error” and that they “might not stay”.
Awks for them.
