The Geordie Shore cast are meant to start filming for the next series today – but this has been delayed because of disputes over how much the stars are being paid.

With original cast member Gaz Beadle now gone to focus on being a dad, many of the other favourites apparently feel there should be more money for them.

A source told The Sun: "The big names in the cast are failing to agree terms such as fees for the series. With Gaz having left the show they felt there should be more money to dish out."

Marnie Simpson, Scotty T and Chloe Ferry are all returning for the next series, but until the row over their contracts are sorted filming has been postponed.

Many of the stars are apparently refusing to agree to certain terms.

This comes after Marty McKenna claimed he's "been sacked" from the show in an explosive Twitter rant.

He tweeted: “So I won’t be going back to @mtvgeordieshore as I’ve been sacked according to a few people."

In other news, there has been speculation that Scotty T is ENGAGED, after he posted a picture of him kissing a mystery blonde woman with an engagement ring emoji.
