Geordie Shore stars Nathan Henry and Sophie Kasaei have revealed some inside information about what it’s really like to appear on the MTV reality show.
And, according to the pair, there are very strict rules.
Speaking to The Sun, Nathan explained: “You're allowed one phone call every three days – like prison.
"If I had a massive argument with Sophie, the first thing I'd do is get my phone, text my friends and bitch about them. So not having phones, it forces you to confront them and sort it out.”
Sophie added: “You’re in there for five weeks straight – think of Big Brother but you're allowed a phone call.
“It is really full on – even though it is fun, it's full on. So when we do go out you just wanna have fun, let your hair down and listen to music.”
Inside the house, she added, the cast members can’t listen to music as it interferes with the microphones.
Surprisingly, Sophie also said they don’t really pre-drink anymore because things have got much stricter since the show first started.
She said: “When we're going out there are paps everywhere and we can't just fall out of clubs as much as we used to."
Apparently nowadays they rarely stay in the club for more than two hours when filming for the show.
According to Sophie, producers are keen to make things safer for the Geordie gang - even putting them to bed, giving them bottles of water and making them crumpets in the morning!
The new series is back on August 29 at 10pm.
