George Galloway has not minced his words when it comes to responding to Katie Hopkins’ stream of tweets criticising Palestinians.
Over a thousand people signed a petition on the Arrest Katie Hopkins website this week calling for the loud-mouthed columnist to be arrested after she shared a series of offensive opinions about Palestinian citizens, one of which read: “Palestinians busy knifing Israelis. 2 stage solution my arse. Filthy rodents burrowing beneath Israel. Time to restart the bombing campaign.”
But the 59-year-old Respect MP's reaction was the most potent.
George was asked who he would choose to permanently exile to outer space during his weekly Q&A session on Press TV.
He chose Katie, explaining: "This week she tweeted that it was time for Israel to start the bombing of the Palestinian people again, and she described the Palestinian people as rodents borrowing away underneath Israel – two state solution my a**e, she said.
"Now it was a very odd choice of words, quite apart from how offensive it was, to describe the Palestinian people as rodents when she’s a rat faced b**** herself, was really very strange.
"In fact, she’s the lowest of the low."
He went on to question, like the hordes of others, why Katie hadn’t been put on trial for her comments.
Still, George's own slate isn't squeaky clean - he was questioned over the summer by police on suspicion of inciting religious hatred for saying that Bradford should be an “Israel free” zone.
Police are reportedly looking into Katie's comments after receiving complaints about what she wrote.
