Last night’s MTV EMA awards sounded like a right barrel of laughs. Stormzy and Liam Payne had some sort of weird skateboard race, then Stormzy got trapped in the girls’ toilets, while Rita Ora had about 42532423 outfit changes. Sounds pretty lit, right?
Well, poor old George Shelley nearly missed out on all the fun when he turned up to the totally wrong venue.
The DJ and former Union J star rocked up all raring to go at London’s O2 Arena but, unfortunately, the awards were actually taking place all the way at the other end of the Jubilee line at Wembley Stadium. LOL.
George posted about his little mishap on Twitter and fans were quick to help him plan his route to the correct venue.
“Just went to the o2 for the @mtvema’s…its at Wembley,” he wrote.
One fan responded: “Hop on the jubilee line son Go go go.”
Others just posted memes of George looking really confused.
The poor hun.
Liam Payne also had a bit of a mare at the EMAs when he fell over right in front of Stormzy.
The pair were having some sort of race-type thing backstage at the awards, which is where the tumble happened. And Liam posted a video to his Twitter showing the whole thing.
