After it was leaked that Gigi Hadid is expecting her first child with boyfriend Zayn Malik, the model has now confirmed the happy news while revealing her strange pregnancy cravings.
Gigi appeared via video link on American chat show The Tonight Show and thanked host Jimmy Fallon for his congratulations, saying, “Thank you so much.
“Obviously we wish we could have announced it on our own terms, but we're very excited and happy and grateful for everyone's well wishes and support.”
Speaking of experiencing pregnancy for the first time and celebrating her 25th birthday during lockdown, Gigi said, “I'm trying, and especially during this time, it's a nice silver lining to be able to be home and together and really experience it day by day."

Speaking to a Dutch newspaper, Gigi’s mother Yolanda also confirmed the news, saying, “I’m excited to become a grandmother in September, especially after I lost my mom so recently. But this is the beauty of life. One soul leaves us and a new one comes in. We feel very blessed.”
Now five months pregnant, Gigi actually dropped a major hint she was expecting way back in February, when she told i-D magazine, “I think that as I get older ... well one day I'll start a family and I don't know if I will always be modelling.”
