The Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards split was hands down the biggest pop break-up since Britney and Justin.

They’ve both definitely moved on since then, but we still kinda haven’t.

Zayn’s relationship with supermodel Gigi Hadid seems to be going strong (and they’re basically the best-looking couple we’ve seen ever in our lives), but that hasn’t stopped Gigi from seemingly throwing a large helping of shade Perrie’s way.

When asked in an interview with ES Magaazine what most attracted her to Zayn, she replied: "I would say his brain. For the first time, we are both in a relationship where we have very similar interests outside of work and that is really important.

"We cook a lot together and do art together and we’re each other’s best friends. We both feel we can talk about anything and learn a lot from one another."

Blimey.

That’s not only insulting his and Perrie’s relationship, but also her and Joe Jonas’!

Poor Joe :(.

But we’re guessing Perrie won’t be overly bothered, particularly as Little Mix’s new album is apparently going to detail what happened during Zayn and Perrie break-up.

Bandmate Jesy Nelson said: She said: "I think it’s always easier to write about your experiences through music because more people can relate to them anyway.

"It is a lot more mature, this album. There’s a lot of things that have been said that perhaps nobody has heard yet, if you know what I mean," she told The Sun.

When asked for deets, she said: "I think it’s pretty obvious. I think all the songs are very relatable to girls, and our fan base in general."

We cannot WAIT.

Plus, Perrie has been romantically linked to FITLORD Luke Pasqualino (AKA Freddie from Skins), so we’re guessing she’s doing alright.
