It’s been a week since Perrie Edwards declared her love for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on Instagram (even though we KNEW it was a thing way back when we wrote this about their social media secret).
So with no guilt, we can say: OK, there’s no getting around it, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are actually pretty cute together.
Cute as in they spam our Insta feeds with loved-up selfies that we simultaneously adore and despise.
Nothing to do with the fact that we’re spending Valentines Day alone. AGAIN.
Anyway, according to Zayn the couple met at a Victoria’s Secret party, and then her nervously asked her out on a date.
But on Gigi’s debut Ellen Show appearance, she revealed how they REALLY got it oooon, with all the nitty gritty details he failed to divulge.
And she is literally all of us.
“We actually met at a friend’s birthday party a few years ago,” she said.
“Then, he was in New York to come to the Victoria’s Secret show... and ended up not coming. I was like, ‘I’ll play it cool, I’ll go to the after party.’ He wasn’t there.”
Sort of like what we to do get with the guy we fancy, except there’s way more Facebook lurking to track them down.
The did end up bumping into each other, though, and went on a date a few days later.
Gigi also admitted that she has zero chill, and our hearts sang because she is our spirit animal.
“We played it cool for like ten minutes, and then I was like, ‘You’re really cute!’ and we connected really quickly.”
Oh, Gigi.
