Glee’s Becca Toblin’s boyfriend has been found dead in similar circumstances to Cory Monteith

Becca, 28, who plays Kitty Wilde in the musical television series, accompanied Matt on a business trip on Wednesday.

It is not known if Becca was present when 35-year-old Matt’s body was found by a hotel maid on Thursday afternoon.

While the Philadelphia Medical Examiner confirmed a body had been found, no other information was given.

The couple had enjoyed a “normal” evening out with friends on Wednesday and returned to their hotel afterwards, according to* TMZ*.

Nightclub owner Matt ran a number of popular party spots in the US and was director of operations at DBA Nightclub in Los Angeles.

Friends of the businessman are said to be “devastated” at the news and his colleagues at DBA put a tribute message on a board outside the venue, which read: “We love you Matt.”

Becca joined Glee as a recurring cast member in the fourth series of the show and became a regular during season five.

Just two days before his death, Matt posted a picture of himself looking happy and happy with Becca on Instagram.
