Gogglebox and Celebrity Big Brother star George Gilbey has reportedly been charged by police for attacking his girlfriend Gemma Conway.
According to The Sun, George 'snapped' at and 'shoved' the mother of his daughter before going on a 'wrecking spree' around their home and subsequently being 'arrested' the following day.
George reportedly 'trashed' various items; causing £400-worth of damage before he was apparently taken to a police station for questioning.
The Sun claims George was charged for 'assault by beating' Gemma and causing 'criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.'
Metropolitan Police confirmed a man had been charged with assault, saying: "A man has been charged following an assault on Friday, 16th March.
"George Gilbey, 34, of Clacton, was charged with assault by beating and criminal damage on Saturday, 17th March."
They added that he's set to appear at Wimbledon's Magistrate's court later this month.
George is said to have moved back into his mum Linda and stepdad Pete's home following the incident. He and girlfriend Gemma have one daughter together; Amelie Gilbey who was born in June 2016.
Neither George not Channel 4 have commented on the reported charges.
