Gok Wan has hit back at homophobic attackers after a run-in with them at an airport

Gok Wan has spoken out on Instagram after a bunch of idiots hurled homophobic abuse at him at an airport.

The famous stylist shared a powerful post on his Instagram yesterday to bite back at them - it read "'Lads' at the airport. When I walk past you and you mutter "queer faggot" I hear you. I don't turn around and answer you because you are stupid. I don't throw anything at you because I would be embarassed. I don't even look at you because you are not worth my face. Have a great time, wherever you are going to. I sincerely hope you don't get any abuse while you're away. Maybe for looking a little different, maybe for not being a local... maybe for just being you. Bon Voyage Dickheads".

CLAP EMOJI X10000000000. We hear ya, Gok.

Fans rushed in to support Gok, with one commenting "Well said. They're not worth a second of your time", and another saying "Disgusting behaviour from small minded nobodies who will never grow their mindset, they'll just develop their ignorance!".

Another follower said "I still can't believe that there is so much prejudice and hate!!! I quite frankly think it's jealousy....they see a highly successful and well loved person who has encouraged millions of women, myself included to don the Spanx, embrace our "bangers" and give us confidence. What have they done for people other than make nasty comments? Whose lives have they changed? These are people that could do with a bit of self esteem and confidence and look at themselves before attempting to boost their ego by trying to brings someone else down! I know who I'd rather spend my day with. #loveGok".

We couldn't agree more with Gok's supportive followers. This type of behaviour is disgusting - but we love that Gok has spoken out on the issue.
