Following last week's tease, where Strictly Come Dancing professional Gorka Márquez told his fans they should expect an announcement on soon, he has now revealed more details. Gorka, who has taken a back seat in the current series of Strictly, has just announced a new tour for 2020 along with Karen Hauer.
Taking to Instagram, both professional dancers have shared the same video, with Gorka and Karen dancing to 'Bamboleo' in front of a backdrop of huge flames. Gorka captioned his video, '🔥 𝑭𝑰𝑹𝑬𝑫𝑨𝑵𝑪𝑬 🔥 So excited to announce that myself and @karenhauer are doing our UK TOUR together in 2020. Tickets are on Sale from this FRIDAY‼️ WWW.FIREDANCELIVE.CO.UK'.
When Gorka first teased a big announcement last week, many fans suspected a new tour could be on the cards, and now that it's been confirmed fans have been expressing their excitement in the comments. One fan wrote, '👏👏🔥', with another saying, 'Our 2 faves'.
The official Firedance website confirms there are currently 18 venues across the UK scheduled for next year, including Glasgow, Manchester and Sheffield.
This exciting news comes a few weeks after Gorka finished a tour with other Strictly professionals, Giovanni Pernice and Aljaz Skorjanec.
It also comes just a couple of days after the new series of Strictly Come Dancing started, where new dad Gorka will be is taking a lesser role. Taking to Instagram, Gorka explained to his fans, "For everybody that’s been asking, I can let you know that this series, I sadly won’t be partnered with a celebrity for the main series of Strictly. However, I will still be heavily involved in all of the group numbers and all things Strictly!
"I’m excited to see this year’s celebs and my fellow professionals dance for the Glitter Ball and I hope to be back fighting for it next year. As always, it’s gonna be a GREAT series."
Gorka and his girlfriend Gemma Atkinson welcomed a little girl earlier this year, and later revealed her name to be Mia Louise Marquez. Cute!

When Countdown presenter Rachel Riley appeared on Strictly in 2013 she was married to her ex-husband Jamie Gilbert. Gemma Atkinson and Gorka Marquez
Radio presenter Gemma Atkinson and professional dancer Gorka Marquez were first linked in the 2017 series, and got together whilst on the 2018 annual tour together. They moved in together in December 2018 and welcomed their daughter Mia in summer 2019. The couple then announced their engagement at the start of 2021.
Giovanni Pernice and Ashley Roberts
Professional dancer Giovanni Pernice and Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts were forced to deny they were dating during the 2018 series, but Giovanni confirmed the relationship in January 2019.However, just one year later in January 2020, Giovanni confirmed the pair had split and the dancer is now dating Love Island star Maura Higgins.
Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton
Despite taking a long time to confirm their romance, Stacey and Kevin now seem very happy together, with Kevin announcing back in March that he's quit the show. Stacey took to Twitter to address her ex-boyfriend's words, but she didn't confirm or deny she is dating Kevin.
