Gregg Wallace engaged to girlfriend Anne-Marie Sterpini

Well, Gregg Wallace, it looks like congratulations are in order, doesn’t it? The Masterchef host has only gone and proposed to his girlfriend.

Gregg, 50, has asked for lady friend Anne-Marie Sterpini’s hand in marriage after a two-year romance.

Once they say “I do” Anne-Marie, who is 21 years Gregg’s junior, will be his fourth wife, with the television presenter telling The Sun: “I’ve never been happier.”

The couple’s story is a bit of a fairytale for the digital age as they met through Twitter in early 2013 and later moved in together.

Former greengrocer Gregg hasn’t always been so lucky in love – his first wife Christine left him after just six weeks in 1991.

He then married Denise in 1999, who he has children Tom and Libby with.

And his marriage to Heidi ended in 2012 after 18 months.

A source said: “Gregg has not had the easiest time in love.

“But he is convinced this time is different. He adores Anne-Marie, they have lots in common and get on incredibly well.

“The wedding will be some time next year and you can guarantee the food will be great.”
