Poor Gwen Stefani’s had a rough time of it lately - what with her 13 year marriage to Gavin Rossdale disintegrating last year amid rumours of him cheating with the nanny. But things are looking to be on the up for the singer now, as new documents obtained by Radar Online show the couple filed a proposed judgment package in their divorce case on April 11.
While the settlement still needs to be okayed by the judge, it looks like this should be cleared up in a matter of weeks - leaving Gwen free to enjoy life with her new man Blake Shelton.
More importantly, though, Gwen has got her career firmly back on track with a number one album This Is What The Truth Feels Like inspired by the messy split.
All this will come as a huge relief to the star, who said in a recent interview of the split: “I did not think anything. I wasn’t thinking. I was feeling and I was dying. And then I was just like, You can’t go down like this! You have to turn this into music. You have to try, at least. I was so embarrassed by just everything. I just didn’t want to be that person that just went down after all of that.”
