Can you believe it’s been two years since Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin announced their separation and coined the infamous term “consciously uncoupling?”

Us neither!

Well it has in fact been over 24 months since that fateful day and only now has the pair’s 10 year marriage come to an end with the divorce becoming finalised on Thursday.

According to People magazine, the pair reached a divorce settlement in May and their judgement was entered at a LA County Court on July 14th.

The couple announced their separation in March 2014 with a post on Gwyneth’s Goop website titled “Conscious Uncoupling”.

In the statement the pair said: “We have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate.

“We are, however, and always will be a family and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been.”

The pair share 2 children, Apple, 12, and Moses, 10, and have managed to remain incredibly close since the split.

Gwyneth has even, quite weirdly tbh, described her ex-hubby as “like my brother - I'm really close to him. We're a family."

Chris has also spoken very highly on Gwyn, saying earlier this year: “It's always out there in the media, but I have a very wonderful separation-divorce.”

While we’re sad this once perfect couple have gone their separate ways it’s great to see that they’re still getting on great as a family!
