When Nick Knowles teamed up with Prince Harry and William for a DIY SOS special on the BBC, we don’t think he realised just how willing they’d be to get their hands dirty.
We all know Harry and Wills are super nice…but it turns out it wasn’t just the painting and decorating they were up for. No, the Princes were pretty handy when it came to feeding and watering the huge team behind the show too.
At the launch of super-cool new bar, Ginger Martini (it’s at the Stables Market in Camden, London, FYI), we overheard Nick telling his friends: “Will loves a bacon butty and both he and Harry have their tea strong – they love a builder’s brew.”
Interesting.

But who was most helpful in the kitchen? “Harry made the perfect cuppa,” Nick recalled to his mates. “He turned into the tea boy.” Sounds great to us. He’d be more than welcome at heat towers.

The two Princes turned their hands to DIY to help a project that transformed derelict houses into homes for ex servicemen and women.
Although they had hard hats with their names on, it seems some of the team struggled to wok out their names, with the show’s electrician Billy Byrne calling Harry “Sausage”.
Haz saw the funny side though and joked: “If you're going to call me sausage, it's going to be a very long day.” We think it suits him.
Happy birthday, Prince Harry! Here's why you've always been the cutest prince
